| Most of my non-objective
paintings are done for the love of color and process. I just start someplace
and see where it goes -- a form of serendipity. I alternate layers
of opposing values and hues over the entire surface and while all the paint
is still wet, I often drag the tip of my knife through the layers, leaving
designs of words, symbols, lines and shapes.
